So I was undecided on what to get Jason for Valentines Day, until yesterday. I had a last minute brainstorm to go get mine and Keira's pictures taken for him. We really don't have a lot of pictures of me pregnant, so this was a perfect opportunity. I like to have those, because we don't know if we will have any more little ones after this one. We had an appointment at Kiddie Kandids in Modesto and I think the photos turned out great! Keira was so good! She had only had about a 20 minute nap on the way there, so I was planning for the worst. She was great. She was in a really good mood and was extremely cooperative. Here are the pictures we had taken.

Pictures of Jackson... finally...
Ok, so last night we went back to the 3D Ultrasound place and Jackson was more cooperative than he has been. Our appointment was at 8:00 pm, so I think he is a night owl (I hope only for now). The fact that I had a chocolate donut and some orange juice on the way there probably doesn't hurt either ;-) He was kicking like crazy. Here are some pictures that we got of our baby boy last night.
He looks like he is smiling in the bottom left photo
Jackson, at 28 1/2 Weeks
Keira Liz dated 9.23.06 - Do you see a resemblance between her and Jackson???

Keira Liz dated 9.23.06 - Do you see a resemblance between her and Jackson???Our poor boy does not like being bothered. At one point when trying to get a good shot of him, he arched his back and buried his head in the placenta. At least we now have a decent photo and won't have to bother him any more.
Do you think the 3D pictures of Jackson and Keira look alike at all? Let me know what you think. Talk to you soon.

Picture...
So, I FINALLY got the scanner to work downstairs where we moved it on to our new desk. We took all the kiddos to Chuck E. Cheese last week and had a great time. It's our new favorite place. There is so much for the little ones to do and the adults get to be entertained as well (always a plus!). There was this really neat "game" where you got your picture taken and it then printed it out to look like it was sketched. I love this picture of Keira and I so I had to share...

Catching up...
Ok, so my New Year's resolution to blog more often and post pictures isn't working out so well. I wish I had more time (or motivation) as I love reading everyone else's blogs.
So here's what's been going on in the last month or so. Believe it or not, I am due in about 13 weeks - although it could be sooner as Keira was born about 2 weeks early! How did that happen so fast??? I received my latest pregnancy bulletin via email this past week saying that I am 27 weeks pregnant and I was surprised for some bizarre reason (especially since I get these bulletins weekly). I am excited and nervous! We are so not close to having the nursery done. Right now it just looks like a really messy office. It still has the desk in it and other miscellaneous stuff. We moved out our lovely dining room table yesterday from our kitchen and brought in the old oak top table that we are going to use while the kiddos are young. That was quite an undertaking as our dining table weighed at least a couple hundred pounds. It is now being stored in the garage until the kids are old enough to treat it nicely and not ruin such a lovely table. One good thing is that the "new" table in the kitchen is much smaller, therefore our kitchen looks HUGE! The next step is to move the five dining chairs out of the family room. I am looking at them right now. As lovely as they are, they really need to get out to the garage for permanent storage. I will post pictures as soon as we make some progress in to turning the office in to a real nursery.
We went over to my sisters yesterday to watch the Super Bowl. As my whole family is from Pittsburgh, it was a very exciting game to watch. My Mom screamed the loudest! All the kids just look at her like she is crazy :-) I don't usually watch football, but I have to say - that was a great game. I really didn't think the Steelers were going to pull it off. None of the kids had naps yesterday, but they all seemed to behave rather well. Amazing.
Keira is just getting over an ear infection and now I am coming down with a cold. UGH. I am disappointed that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today. I am really ready for winter to be over. I want all of these germs gone that keep making us all sick. On the other hand we really need the rain. I just read this morning that we are at the lowest rainfall that our city has had since 1974-1975. Not good. We went to Tahoe last fall, and it was really sad to see the Truckee River was almost dry. We are not getting enough rain/snow at all for this area. I can't complain too much today, though. It is supposed to be 68 degrees or so. I will go outside and try to kill my cold that way!
We went to get a 3D Ultrasound of Jackson on Saturday and our boy did not cooperate! Can you believe it??? We were there for about 30 minutes and the technician had me lay in every position imaginable trying to get a good shot but there were none to be had. She printed off four pictures for us but they are hardly recognizable. We had to schedule a re-do appointment for a week from today, 2/9. The next appointment is scheduled for 8pm. Maybe he will be more awake in the evening. I hope so! I really want to see what he looks like! Until then... have a great week.
