Jackson's Baby Shower...

It's the final countdown!!! Less than 3 weeks left until our little one is due (I'm hoping he is here sooner!). I have never had so many aches and pains in my entire life. I feel like I am about 80 years old when I have to get out of bed in the middle of the night to make a trek to use the restroom (something that I DO NOT do when I am not pregnant). My lower back aches and I have a shooting pain down the right side. Other than that, I am great! Have a little bit of nesting going on which I am sure that Jason loves (this pertains to him, as someone has to keep an eye on Keira while I clean every room in our house!) Soon our baby will be here and we will be occupied taking care of him rather than cleaning.

This past weekend my sister and Mom threw me a baby shower for Jackson. It was a small group of my closest friends and we all went to tea at my favorite tea house, The English Rose in Pleasanton. We had a great time. Our reservation was at 11 and they give you 2 hours to stuff yourself full of tea, sweets and savories. Almost enough time, but not quite. When you get 8 chatty Kathy ladies together, 2 hours is never enough! It was so much fun to chat and catch up with everyone and I got wonderful gifts for our new little one! As I said, I am counting down the days until the baby is here. We can't wait!
